After growing up in rural Alaska, Caddie studied Earth Systems at Stanford
University. She spent two years in Paraguay with the Peace Corps doing
agriculture development work with local farmers, and currently lives and
works in Merced as an extension/outreach specialist for climate-smart
agriculture.
