Majdi's bio:
Dr. Abou Najm's research group focuses on optimizing the biophysical processes along the water-soil-plant-atmosphere continuum for sustainable resource management. He utilizes systems approach to optimize the water-energy-food nexus through improved understanding of the system-connections and governing processes. He is particularly interested in the soil pore structure being the medium where the bulk of soil biophysical interactions take place. He is also involved in sustainable designs for poverty alleviation under humanitarian engineering context.
