Sharing Earth systems research with non-specialized audiences

For what good is knowledge that is kept to itself? What you’re doing, what you’re finding, and why it matters are stories worth telling. Communication with non-specialized audiences is becoming an increasingly important and even necessary duty of earth systems researchers. This presentation will provide information and resources for 1) crafting presentations that stick with visual appeal and emotional engagement, 2) making your science and message accessible for non-specialized audiences, and 3) getting the word out in a variety of formats. Bring an abstract or research project description to practice translating your science-speak!
