Dear all,

Please support our community in Earth and environmental sciences by
attending our weekly events. This week's speaker in our Enviro-lunch brown
bag seminar series will be:

*Dr. Godwin Nwosu*

(O'Day lab)

*A surrogate-based model system approach to studying environmental
persistent free radicals in superfund soils*

Environmentally Persistent Free Radicals (EPFRs) are formed in combustion
and thermal processes. In this talk, Dr. Godwin will discuss the formation
of EPFRs in contaminated soils, and how to utilize surrogate-based model
systems to understand the mechanism of EPFRs formation in real soil system.

Where: SE2-302

When: Thursday (April 27th, from 12-1:30PM)

We look forward to seeing you,

Organizers for 2016-17: Rebecca Abney and Fernanda Santos
